How do you describe your therapeutic approach?
I enjoy tailoring interventions to each patient’s unique needs, using evidence-based techniques to help them leverage their strengths and reach their goals. I believe in providing patients with the information and tools they need to collaborate with me in making decisions about their care.
What do you specialize in?
My primary specialties are treating anxiety disorders, depression, and ADHD. I also have expertise in working with individuals facing life transitions, relationship issues, and work difficulties, as well as supporting women during pregnancy and throughout the journey of parenthood.
In another life, if you weren’t working in counseling, what would you be doing?
Architecture! It would satisfy both the practical and aesthetic parts of my brain to be able to build something that serves a structural purpose and is also an object of beauty.
What’s something your clients might be surprised to learn about you?
I love a good thrill—sunrise skydive over ocean cliffs in Kauai for the win!
