Co-Founder, Director of Psychiatry

Michael Dulchin, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the New York University Medical Center, where he supervises trainees and teaches psychiatry residents.

Dr. Dulchin was the Director of Inpatient Psychiatry at NYU Medical Center from 2003 to 2013, where he was responsible for the clinical, educational and administrative aspects of the inpatient psychiatric program, and won the Teacher of the Year award in 2013. Before that, he was the Assistant Director of the General Clinical Research Unit at the New York State Psychiatric Institute/Columbia University Medical Center. He has also been in private practice since 1997.

After receiving his psychiatric training at New York Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, he was made Chief Resident in 1998. Dr. Dulchin attended medical school at the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, and majored in English as an undergraduate at Columbia University. Dr. Dulchin is a frequent guest on the Psychiatry Show on Dr. Radio, the Sirius XM station devoted to the medical field. He has also published on topics including the neurobiology of depression, bipolar disorder and psychiatric training.
