Brynn is a Mental Health Counselor who is influenced by both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic approaches in her work. Additionally, she utilizes a humanistic approach with motivational interviewing skills to help clients create positive change in their lives. Brynn enjoys working with adolescents, teens and adults, and has experience treating anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.
Brynn believes the most important part of therapy is the trusting relationship between the client and the therapist. She strives to create a healing space for her clients and works to meet her clients wherever they are in their lives with the goal of helping them better understand their thoughts and feelings and live more authentic, fulfilled lives.
During her graduate career, Brynn gained clinical experience working in an Early Intervention Program in the Bronx. She worked with children with developmental delays, helping them meet their individual goals and developmental milestones. Additionally, Brynn has worked with adults with various substance use disorders at a private, outpatient substance use facility in Manhattan. She has experience leading group therapy and working with families. Brynn is LGBTQ+ affirming and practices with an intersectional feminism, anti-oppressive and anti-racism approach.

- Completed graduate internship at a private, outpatient substance use treatment center where she lead group, family and individual therapy with adults
- Worked with infants and toddlers who had a developmental delay and/or disability such as autism at an Early Intervention Program (EIP) in the Bronx
