RACHEL HOFFMAN, LCSW, PhD abd

Rachel Hoffman is a licensed clinical social worker, who specializes in issues related to sexuality, intimacy, and interpersonal relationships. Using a collaborative approach, she works best with clients who are seeking to understand themselves, their bodies, their partner’s bodies and/or their interpersonal relationships. Her ideal clients have an open mind to feedback, are able to engage in reciprocity, and follow through with goals that result in tangible improvements and overall growth.

Rachel has years of experience working with couples navigating marital issues and communication surrounding intimacy as well as individuals suffering with sexual dysfunction and body image issues. She uses sensate therapy and works with an interdisciplinary team to help treat sexual dysfunctions. Additionally, she has been successful in helping teens and young adults who are stressed due to dating and developing intimacy. Rachel has experience working with the LGBTQ and Kink Communities.

Rachel utilizes an eclectic approach based on patients’ needs and comfort. She is sensitive to cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds and recognizes how values and family history can impact relationships and sexuality. She helps you navigate through your current concerns in a safe, genuine, and compassionate manner.

Rachel is the author of Dating and Mating in a Techno Driven World: Understanding how technology is helping and hurting relationships.

  • PhD Candidate in Human Sexuality from Widener University
  • Master’s degree of Education from Widener University
  • Master’s degree of Social work from Yeshiva University Wurzweiler’s School of Social Work
