Tom Kearns, LMSW, is a therapist with extensive experience in both counseling and business giving him a unique ability to provide balanced guidance for working professionals and their families. Through personal insight and creative strategies, Tom works with individuals to study the gap between goals and their achievement. Through contextual discussions, they pinpoint distractions in both personal and professional lives and explore intelligent solutions so people can build positive change in their lives.
As a seasoned high-performance consultant, Tom has worked with professional and college athletes, Wall Street executives, lawyers, venture capitalists, artists, and students to help manage stress and anxiety towards improving their personal and professional lives. Tom is also the mental health advisor to the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks, helping to better coordinate care for players.
Tom earned his Bachelor’s degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and his Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University. He has also received training at The United States Olympic Training Center, San Diego University for Integrative Studies, and Century Anger Management. He previously worked with the National Basketball Association, Midtown Community Court, District Council 37, and Smith, Barney, Harris, Upham.
